Inside the Factory Where Bocce’s Bakery Dog Treats Are Made

Founded in 2010 by Andrea Tovar, Bocce’s Bakery was inspired by the need to create healthier, natural snacks for her dog, Bocce, who had a sensitive stomach. Andrea started baking dog treats in her small New York City kitchen, focusing on simple, real ingredients.

As you’ll see in the video below, things went well and the operation has grown quite a bit since then. I’ll warn you, watching these dog treats being produced is kind of hypnotizing. I enjoyed it waaaaaaay too much.

The company is built around the principle of limited-ingredient recipes. Their treats are made using only natural, locally sourced ingredients, with no fillers or artificial preservatives. This commitment ensures that pets get wholesome, nutritious snacks.

And of course, they’re made in the USA. The footage in the video is shot at their Chicago plant.

I made a list of companies that sell American-made dog food and treats – Bocce’s Bakery is on there along with many others. It might be interesting to have a look if you have a dog.
