USA-Made Kitchenware Items for Less than $20

The kitchen is a great place to start prioritizing American-made products. Over the years I’ve found a lot of options for kitchenware and gadgets that are produced right here and in this article, I’m going to focus on companies that offer these products for $20 or less. I always say to people – “Buy American-made when you can” as I’m aware that there are a lot of products made here that are simply too expensive for many, but this list provides a number of items that most folks should be able to get behind and support.

USA Pan

The majority of the products USA Pan sells are made at their manufacturing facility in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Among their products that cost $20 or less, you can buy bread loaf pans, pie pans, cake pans, sheet pans and jelly roll pans.

***Please note that they sell baking racks for less than $20, but they are made in China.

Preserve

Preserve is a certified B Corporation that makes all of its products with the exception of one in America. Most of what they make is crafted from recycled plastic, and for less than 20 bucks they offer food storage containers, cutting boards, colanders and measuring cups.

Rada is well known for producing all of its products in America with USA-sourced materials, and they have lots of kitchen utensils and gadgets that cost less than $20. Among them are some of their knives, potato mashers, mixing spoons, spatulas, cutting boards, dishcloths, serving spoons, peelers, whisks, knife sharpeners and more.

If you like making cookies, you need to check out Ann Clark. Each cookie cutter is hand-crafted at their facility in Rutland, Vermont, from certified metal from mills in the United States. They make cookie cutters in many different designs, and most of the individual models are priced at $2.99, with sets of multiple cutters well under the $20 mark.

Dexas has been committed to manufacturing products in the USA from day one, over 50 years ago, and today makes a good number of kitchen items at its Texas facility. For under $20, they have several different cutting boards and tortilla warmers.

***Some of their kitchen products are made in China and Taiwan, so be careful and read product descriptions.

Epicurean

Epicurean was born in 2003 and is well-known for the paper composite material it uses for many of its products, which is 100% manufactured in the USA. All Epicurean products are designed and manufactured at a 60,000 square-foot facility in Superior, Wisconsin. For less than $20 they have pan scrapers, spreaders, small cutting boards, spoons, spatulas and tool rests.

***Items in the Silicone and Gourmet Series are made in the USA of both American and imported materials.

Alfi makes a few items that sell for less than $20, among them some bread scoring tools and all-purpose kitchen knives, which are very highly rated.

Nordic Ware logo

Nordic Ware

Nordic Ware has manufactured kitchen products in Minneapolis for over 75 years and they work with North American vendors for the supply of most of their raw materials too. Their website doesn’t allow me to organize their items by price, but for less than $20 they sell cake-finishing tools, loaf/cake keepers, colanders, batter bowls, baking sheets, pot covers and more.

Smelly Proof

Smelly Proof make reusable, smell proof ziplock bags that are ideal for storing food and supplies in your kitchen. They’re known to be extremely strong anf 100% made in the USA.

Pikanty makes and sells a range of kitchen storage solutions and basic utensils from plastic, including coffee scoops, spatulas and slotted spoons. Their cheese and deli holders are among their most popular products.

Handi-Foil

You can’t buy Handi-Foil products directly on their website – you’ll need to shop at a brick-and-mortar retailer where they’re stocked or an online retailer. They don’t have prices on their own website, but they make recyclable aluminum products that are suitable for anything from roasting and baking to BBQ and meal prep. They’re all manufactured at their Naperville and Wheeling, Illinois facilities.

Gourmac has a whole section on their website dedicated to their “Made in USA” range. On there you’ll find plastic funnels, cookie cutters, pitchers, scoppers, ladles, straining spooners, turners, forks, graters, ice trays and more, all for under $20.
