Sock Religious Factory Tour

Sock Religious began as a playful idea between Scott and Elisabeth Williams during a road trip to Chicago in 2017. Scott, a self-proclaimed “sock guy,” mused about how fun it would be to wear socks featuring saints on their feast days instead of the usual novelty designs like donuts or hamburgers. This casual conversation sparked a creative endeavor that soon became a thriving business.

Initially importing their products, Sock Religious transitioned to manufacturing their socks in-house in 2021. They acquired ten sock-manufacturing machines and set up a facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. The company’s workforce has grown from a small team to 26 employees.

Take a quick tour around their factory and see how the socks are made.
