Oka-B is a company that’s proud to say it’s in the “remaining 1% of shoe manufacturers in the USA” and has the capacity to make up to 10,000 pairs of shoes each day. They say they’ve manufactured more than 35 million pairs since they first opened for business in 1984. That’s an amount of shoes that my brain can’t even begin to imagine! I wonder how big of a mountain it’d create if you put them all on top of each other?!
Anyway, their 100,000-square-foot factory is located in Buford, Georgia and in the video below you can take a tour of it and see how these shoes are made.
I think it is wonderful that these shoes are being made in the USA! They will make nice gifts.
