NuuSol was founded in Caldwell, Idaho by Tony and Chance Stevenson, who also own High Country Plastics. The idea for NuuSol arose after the Stevensons lost a significant manufacturing contract to overseas competition. With over 30 years of experience in manufacturing, distribution, and sales, they saw an opportunity to create a new brand of footwear that combined comfort, style, and affordability, all while being made in the USA.
NuuSol launched its first product, the Cascade Flip Flop, in the fall of 2018. This product was designed with four core principles in mind: make it comfortable, make it stylish, make it affordable, and make it in the USA. They achieved all 4 and the flip flop was a roaring success. They’ve since gone on to launch other footwear products, all of which are proudly manufactured in Ontario, Oregon, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and supporting local jobs.
