Good kitchen towels can make a surprising difference in your daily cooking routine (I didn’t appreciate this until I finally upgraded from my old, thin dish rags). If you’re looking for some that are made right here in the USA, you’re in the right place. I spent some time researching companies that manufacture kitchen towels domestically and put together this list of all the American-made options I could find.

Country Cottons
Country Cottons is located in North Carolina and specializes in 100% cotton kitchen textiles that evoke traditional quality and charm. Their line includes classic kitchen towels in various colors with a loose weave for quick drying and enhanced absorbency. Sourcing, weaving, and sewing is done entirely in North Carolina.

Red Land Cotton
Red Land Cotton was started in 2016 by Mark Yeager and his daughter Anna Yeager Brakefield, and produces high-quality, American-made textiles using cotton grown on their family farm in North Alabama. Their vertically integrated process includes spinning yarn in Virginia, weaving fabric in South Carolina, and dyeing in Georgia or South Carolina before final cutting and sewing in Moulton, Alabama and Tylertown, Mississippi. Their kitchen towels are made from production scraps and are hand-cut, sewn, and screen-printed in Moulton.

OHSAY USA
OHSAY USA is a veteran- and women-owned company based in Austin, Texas that is dedicated to offering curated American-made products. Their product lineup includes the “World’s Most Versatile Dish Cloths,” manufactured in Tennessee since 1884. They feature a soft, double-layered cotton and polyester blend with a classic homespun design and bold, colorful stripes.

Amish Baskets and Beyond
Amish Baskets and Beyond specializes in authentic Amish and handmade products, including kitchen towels. Their towels are crafted in the USA and feature a crochet top with button closure that prevents slipping when you hang them from kitchen fixtures.

Lifekind
Lifekind has been around since 1997 and creates organic and naturally safer household products. They operate their own Eco-Factory and manufacture Kitchen Towels made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, as well as many other products.
