Muller’s Smart Carts
The first Muller’s Smart Cart™ was created in 1975 by Henry Muller of of Santa Barbara, California. Though the company name has changed several times over the years, the design remains practically the same as the original, and it’s still made in the USA. Today, they are based out in Buxton, Maine (near Portland) .
Garrett Wade
Most of what is sold by Garrett Wade is not made in the USA, but they do sell a foldable garden cart that is made here. It folds up flat for easy storage just about anywhere, but it’s sturdy enough to handle full loads of gravel, mulch, bricks, firewood, yard waste, and pretty much anything else you can throw at it.
