Fanny packs have made a serious comeback, and for good reason—they’re incredibly practical (I never thought I’d be a convert, but here we are). If you’re looking for quality options that are made right here in the USA, you’ve come to the right place. I spent some time tracking down American companies that still manufacture fanny packs domestically and put together this list of all the options I could find.

Flowfold
Flowfold is a Maine-based company specializing in minimalist wallets, bags, and outdoor gear crafted from recycled sailcloth and other sustainable materials. They operate from a facility in Maine, and have been in business since 2010. They have a few different fanny packs available.

Duluth Pack
Duluth Pack was founded way back in 1882 and is renowned for handcrafted canvas and leather goods. They still make their goods in Duluth at their own manufacturing facility and their product line features a fanny pack made from 15-ounce canvas, accompanied with a lifetime guaranteed zipper, and durable web trim. It’s ideal for a multitude of activites including every-day errands, dog training, hiking, running, or nordic skiing.

Cinda b
Cinda b was founded by designer Cinda Boomershine in 2004 and emerged from her quest for stylish, functional bags that complemented her dynamic lifestyle. They manufacture in Fort Wayne, Indiana in partnership with Hentz Manufacturing and at the time of writing they have one USA-made fanny pack on offer.

Frost River
Frost River was founde in Duluth, Minnesota and crafts a range of softgoods from waxed canvas, including a range of fanny packs. All products are manufactured in their Duluth facility and each pack features high-quality waxed canvas and solid brass hardware. They have a few different styles on offer.

Mission Workshop
Mission Workshop has been running since 2009 and creates bags and apparel that blend timeless design, modern construction, and cutting-edge materials. Their product line features the Axis Modular Waist Pack—a lightweight, weatherproof fanny pack featuring an ultra-thin laser-cut waist belt that can be tucked away for attachment to other Arkiv® bags. This pack includes an internal zippered compartment, key clip, and rear mini U-lock holder

The company is committed to being sustainable, with over 90% of waste at their studio being composted or recycled. She personally designs and handcrafts each piece, emphasizing quality over quantity. Her “Traveler Fanny Pack” is designed for travel, dog walks, and other “hands-free” activities, measuring 10″ W x 5.5″ H x 2″ D with a 36″ fully adjustable strap, bolt snap, button snap closure, and zippered back pocket sized for a cell phone.

K. Slade
K.Slade was founded in 2010 and began when founder Kelsea Slade started crafting leather goods in her basement on a borrowed sewing machine. Over time the brand grew to partner with skilled leather artisans in Chicago. Their fanny pack collection features several models each featuring sleek design with adjustable straps and ample storage for essentials. Each piece is meticulously crafted using the finest leather, cloth, and hardware.
