A USA-made t-shirt for $10 or less is something akin to the holy grail for those who are passionate about trying to buy domestically manufactured clothing. But does it really exist or is it just a myth? I spent a few hours trying to rise to the challenge, but ultimately was only able to find one company that sells them currently. I did find quite a few wholesale sites listing USA-made t-shirts for less than 10 bucks but didn’t list those here as I was looking for retailers. I also didn’t include any discounted tees here (as they probably won’t be regularly available). I was only looking for full-price tees under $10.
So the company that sells USA-made t-shirts for $10 or less is…(drum roll please)…
Union Shirt Supply
Union Shirt Supply sells a durable heavyweight 7oz tee that is made from 100% preshrunk American cotton (apart from the ash color, which contains 1% polyester). These tees feature a tubular (no side seams) and slightly oversized body and are made with all USA components.
Only sizes S, M & L are below $10 – if you select a larger size it does creep a little over. It’s also available with or without a pocket, but if you want a pocket, again, it creeps slightly over the magical $10 mark.
Other Options That Came Closest
As I only found one option, I thought it’d be a good idea to list the other tees I found that were close to the $10 target.
Royal Apparel
Royal Apparel probably has the biggest range of affordable tees on this list. It’s hard to actually work out what the normal, full-price of their tees is, since they mix in clearance items into the main collection, and practically every other model currently has a 30% discount. I’m not sure if this is a temporary offer or standard practice on their site. Regardless, if you’re looking for affordable tees, try the links below. The $10.49 t-shirt in the men’s collection is actually unisex.

All USA Clothing
All USA Clothing is a great place to check for any USA-made clothing items, so it didn’t surprise me that they have some good, affordable options when it comes to t-shirts. On the men’s side, they stock both Bayside and Union Line t-shirts (both are well-known American manufacturers that don’t sell their goods directly).
Below I’ve listed the cheapest women’s t-shirt as $16.99, but if you click the link you’ll see one t-shirt model for $14.99. However, it features a male model, so I’m not sure if they have added it to that collection by mistake, or they just class it as a unisex t-shirt. I’ve also not considered tank tops (for both men and women the cheapest option is a tank top).

Bayside
As I mentioned above, Bayside is a fairly well-known apparel manufacturer, but they don’t sell directly. You can pick up some of their t-shirts from All USA Clothing, but I thought I’d add a listing here for a couple of other sources I found that sell their tees on Amazon. Both of these listings have quite a few user reviews and seem reliable.

All American Clothing Co
Another good starting point for any ‘Made in USA’ clothing search. They only just miss the mark on the $10, with multiple options for both men and women that are just a few dollars over. I’ve listed the cheapest women’s t-shirt at a dollar extra as that’s what’s displayed in the women’s collection, but the lowest price t-shirt in the men’s collection appears to be unisex.
Please note that with that particular model they state “with the volume we are doing, there is a limited supply of USA yarns, so we need to use both domestic and imported yarns. We are knitting, dyeing, cutting and sewing all in the USA.” On other models, this message is not displayed.

SOS from Texas
SOS t-shirts are made from organic cotton grown on the company’s certified organic farms. They are 100% Made in the USA, “sweat shop free”, by American workers being paid a fair and lawful wage.

Go2 Clothing Co.
Go2 Clothing Co. doesn’t have a website – they only sell on Amazon from what I can tell. They sell a t-shirt that is made from fabric that is knit, designed, dyed, cut, and sewn entirely in the USA. The t-shirt is comprised of 50% Ringspun Cotton/50% Polyester.

Red White Blue Apparel
Technically, if you buy Red White Blue Apparel’s 10-pack, the t-shirts work out at $10 each. I’ve not put them in the first section of this article since I was trying to find a single item that was $10 or less.
Red White Blue Apparel has been producing clothing in the USA since 2013. Every t-shirt is handmade by an American small business and US worker. These are no gimmicks with these tees…just a good old American made T shirt, blank, with nothing on it. They use a tear-away tag to save on cost so they can offer the shirts to you at a better price. If you’re happy with the size, just pull the tag out, if you so choose!
