Assassin Smokers & Grills is a family-owned and operated company that handcrafts their charcoal grills in Macon, Georgia. Whether you’re looking for a new grill for your backyard or you compete in competitions, they have a model for you.
Americana Grills
Americana Grills are by far the cheapest option on this list and are a great solution if you’re not looking for a “serious” grilling setup. Americana Grills are made by a company called Meco and have been produced in Greeneville, Tennessee since 1969. Good if you need something that’s portable and easy to move around.
Goldens’ Cast Iron
If you’re looking for a new grill that is going to last, you can’t go wrong with one from Golden’s Cast Iron. The company has been pouring iron at its foundry for over 140 years!
Moss Grills
Moss Grills are made in the USA by US Veterans. Fred Moss started the company after retiring from the US Navy and the first grill he built was just for his own personal use. Friends, family and neighbors who saw his grill asked him to make grills for them and the company was born. His grills are made from barrels and numerous celebrities have become customers, including Whoopi Goldberg, Tony Hawk and George Clinton.
Primo Ceramic Grills
Primo Ceramic Grills make ovel-shaped ceramic grills (referred to as Kamado cookers – the design has a Japanese origin) that feature a patented design and can be used to cook a wide variety of foods. They are manufactured in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
