If you’re the one who’s been given the responsibility of getting behind the grill and cooking, you’re going to need an apron. You’re going to be battling smoke and sizzle. There are a good number of companies that make BBQ aprons in the USA, which I’ve listed below.
Round House Jeans
More famous for their jeans, Round House also makes full-length, 2 pocket shop aprons available in blue denim, brown duck, and black duck. They’re heavy-duty aprons (made from the same fabrics as their bib overalls) that are more than capable of doing the job you need. And they’re affordable too!
ARTIFACT
Artifact aprons are on the more premium end of the scale and they offer a variety of materials (waxed canvas, sturdy denim, or cotton twill). They’re handmade and have been produced in small batches in their Omaha, Nebraska studio since 2010.
DayStar Apparel
Looking for a no-frills BBQ apron that is as affordable as it’s simple? DayStar Apparel has you covered. They offer TONS of different aprons and they’re cheaper than all other options on this list. They don’t sell directly on their own website, so I’ve linked to a retailer that seems to stock most of their apron styles.
Portland Apron Company
The Portland Apron Company offers a grilling apron that is made from organic cotton canvas, that they say will keep you cool all summer long. It features a handy pocket that will hold a 12-ounce can, and is designed, sewn and packaged in the USA.
Drip EZ
If you want to look like you’re a big deal while you’re grilling, EZ Drip offers a waxed canvas apron that might be for you. It is handmade in Longmont, Colorado, and features XL pockets and a towel loop.
Freedom Flames Grilling Co.
Freedom Flames Grilling Co. is a veteran and 1st Responder owned company that takes great pride in the fact that its BBQ aprons are manufactured in the USA. They are made from durable materials and offer three different designs.
Frost River
This is actually a shop apron but the company states that it’s perfectly suited for grilling too. It features a waxed canvas construction, three pockets across the bottom hem, and a chest pocket too. There are a couple of different strap options you can choose from.
Stargazer
While their main focus might be on producing high-quality skillets in the USA, they also offer a basic apron for a decent price. It’s made from stain-resistant poly/cotton twill, has an adjustable neck strap, and features a large front pocket with divider.
Modern Artisans
If you want a good ol’ fashioned heavy-duty BBQ apron, this could be the option for you. It’s handmade in California and is made from heavy-weight cotton canvas, and features industrial stitching, metal rivets and grommets, a vegan leather neck strap, and extra-long 32″ nylon waist ties.
Klein Tools
Another affordable option, this cotton canvas is great for the BBQ and is made in the USA.
Duluth Pack
The Duluth Pack brand is synonymous with quality and this apron is just that. Handcrafted of rugged 15-ounce canvas, it is designed with comfortable and adjustable neck and back straps and also features two front pockets for multi-use functionality.
