In this article, I’m going to zero in on jeans that you can buy for under $100 that are produced in the USA. The prices listed below were correct at the time of writing, but may have changed since then (let me know in the comments if so).
All American Clothing Co.
All American Clothing produces a variety of American-made jeans styles, including stretch denim, carpenter jeans, original jeans, boot cut, and straight leg, among others. These jeans are cut, sewn, and washed in several states across the USA, including Illinois, California, Texas, and Kentucky. The company is very committed to supporting US families and jobs by producing their jeans in the USA, and most of the models they sell are produced using 100% domestically sourced materials. Round House Jeans
Round House, with over 120 years of history, proudly manufactures American-made jeans in Shawnee, Oklahoma. In fact, they claim to be the largest and oldest maker of made-in-USA denim (selling 300,000 units per year). They only use cotton from US farms and every pair of jeans you see listed on their website is made in the USA. They also sell items they produce that have slight defects for very low prices (often under $30 for a pair of jeans).

Dearborn Denim
Dearborn Denim & Apparel designs, cuts, sews, and finishes their jeans at their factory in Chicago, and offers a wide range of different fits (tailor, relaxed, slim, classic, commuter & boot cut). Their jeans represent good value for money. Please be aware that while the manufacturing process takes place entirely within the USA, the denim for most (maybe all) models they carry comes from the Cone Denim Mill in Parras, Mexico. All of the other components (leather patches, zippers, buttons) appear to be USA-made. Most product listings have a section titled “The Denim” or “The Materials” where you can see this information for yourself. The company is pretty transparent about this.

Diamond Gusset offers a distinctive selection of American-made jeans, characterized by the unique gusseted construction that improves comfort and durability. Union Made Clothing only offers a couple of different models of jeans, including carpenter and relaxed fits. Both models boast rivetless construction, but the company doesn’t go into specifics in terms of where the fabrics are sourced from. The company has a long history of making clothing in the USA opening its doors in 1907, and in that time has even been contracted to supply the US Military and the New York Fire Department.

Rustic Dime
Rustic Dime began operating in 2009 with the goal of producing quality jeans at an affordable price. Today they do so with their approach to the supply chain, bypassing traditional costs associated with sourcing agents, warehousing, wholesaling, distribution, and storefront retail, and they design and manufacture all of their jeans in Los Angeles, CA. They offer selvedge denim, slim straight and slim taper jeans. Just be aware that the denim used for the selvedge denim models is Japenese.

KC Jacks offers a couple of different types of work jeans, aptly called the Foreman and Tradesman models. Both are designed with practicality in mind, including cell phone pockets and straight-leg styling. In the FAQ section on the site, the response to the question about manufacturing location is as follows: Absolutely. Our fabrics are sourced in America, woven in America and stitched in America. Around here, we take “Made in America” seriously.

Prison Blues is different from every other entry on this list as the jeans they sell are crafted by inmates as part of the rehabilitation program at the Eastern Oregon Correctional Institute located in Pendleton. This program has been in operation since 1989 and has proved very beneficial to all involved. Most of their jeans are listed as work jeans and they emphasize both the durability and comfort of their products. They are said to be “a traditional favorite of farmers, factory workers, truck drivers, loggers, construction workers—–people who work harder than they play!!!”
